Quick Salad Recipe for a Busy Morning

Cucumber is one of the most thirst-quenching vegetables, which is important when you're hungry and dehydrated from waking up.

On those eventful mornings it is essential to take care of ourselves because it is the most important meal of the day. After a long night our bodies needs nutrition and hydration to begin our full day ahead of us. It is our responsibility to take care of ourselves before we can take care of anyone else.

Carve some extra time to take care of your bodies whether it means preparing it the night/days before or getting up just a tad bit earlier. Your body will thank you. You’ll thank yourself. And the people around will also enjoy the fullness coming from you.

But lets also be real. Fixing a full course breakfast during an eventful morning it quite the challenge. We all do not need the additional workload stress. That is way its important to find breakfast meals that is simple and easy to whip up.

Adore fresh produces from local farmer’s market.

Recipe

This is a simple whip-up what you have in house with some key ingredients.

Key Ingredients: Cucumber, tomatoes, chia seeds, and flax seeds. (If your not a fan of cucumber or tomatoes replace it with a vegetable/fruit that’s packed with water for hydration.)

What you will need and do:

  • Ingredients of your choice: Salad dressing of your choice (In this recipe organic Thousand Island and Ranch dressing was used). Choice of protein (In this recipe I used crispy air fried chicken breast that was pre-cooked and frozen).

  • Cook/heat your protein of choice. (Is not required if you do not want protein ingredients)

  • Peel and slice your vegetables and/or fruits.

  • Toss all ingredients together into a bowl.

  • Measure or squeeze the amount of dressing you would want on all the ingredients.

Voila, breakfast is served!

Then God said, “Let the earth produce vegetation, seed-bearing plants and fruit trees on earth bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” And it was so. (Genesis 1:1 - NET)
